Majholi’s main attraction is the temple of “Vishnu Varaha”. Varaha is said to be the embodiment of Lord Vishnu who appears in the form of a pig (or boar) to save the earth and its people. This ancient temple dates back to the eleventh century CE. The temple houses a giant statue of Varaha. There also exists an idol of Adi Narayan at the front of Varaha statue. A Sheshnaag(name of a snake) sits  in the middle of Varaha’s front legs at the rear of the statue of Adi Narayan. At the rear of Sheshnaag one can witness his wife. All the 4 Vedas lie beneath the 4 legs of Vishnu Varaha.
